MISSION
The calling of the Oak Grove Baptist Church is the respond to the Gospel of God’s love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission. We exercise this calling in various setting and shares in the wider ministry of the Church in the world. Our role is to enable everyone involved in the life of the church to share effectively in worship, fellowship, pastoral care, mission, service, mutual encouragement and help.
VISION
Oak Grove Baptist Church Missionary’s vision and purpose is to go into the communities and the world with the “mission” of sharing their faith and persuading others to join them in their faith. Often missionary work is accompanied by humanitarian work, such as caring for in the sick (a medical missionary), teaching, assisting in various shelters, etc. OGBC missionary’s purpose can be found in the Bible in Mark 16:15, “And he (Jesus) said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature”. Matthew 28:18-20 also.
