Oak Grove Baptist Church Usher’s Mission / Pledge
I pledge by the help of God to do my best to serve my church with a pure heart, clean hands, and breathe that will not be offensive to those I welcome into the house of the Lord.
I pledge to abide by the rules and regulations of the ministry and my superior officers; to attend my meetings and serve when called upon, unless I can give a reasonable excuse; and to keep my financial obligation of the ministry as near as possible.
Oak Grove Baptist Church Usher President’s Goals
1) To provide spiritual inspiration that will encourage ushers to seek the Holy Spirit for a bold spirit of discernment to better serve His people,
For example: When a person walks through the doors of Oak Grove the usher on the door will be able to discern hurt, sadness and/or pain.
2) To perform proper protocol when dealing with different spirits
Ensure that training is available to every member in the ministry
3) To ensure every usher realize they are serving God and not doing me and the Pastor a favor.
4) To ensure the ushers know that their service is appreciated by me and if man does not recognize them it’s ok because, God sees their good work and He will reward them accordingly.
